The American actor, Luke Perry, has died from having a stroke at the age of 52. He was  in many TV show series including Beverly Hills 90210 and Riverdale. He was mainly known as Dylan McKay on the series Beverly Hills 90210 from 1990 to 1995 and again from 1998 to 2000.  In Riverdale, he portrays Fred Andrews: a dad to one of the main characters. Even though his role in Riverdale was important, he was originally a 90’s teenage heartthrob from 90210.

After Perry’s death, his co-workers from Riverdale posted heartfelt messages on social media.  Cole Sprouse, who plays Jughead Jones in Riverdale, posted a message to Perry on Instagram. Sprouse also reveals what is going to happen to the show now that one of the main cast members passed away.

When Luke Perry died, the effects on his daughter, Sophie Perry, was more than just a very sad loss. She also had to deal with the internet trolls. Sophie Perry soon got sick of it and stood up to the trolls on Instagram, saying, “Since my dad died, I have received a lot of attention online. And most of it has been positive, but of course, some people just can’t be nice,” Sophie put Monday underneath a photo for a caption. “I’m here to say that I did not ask for this attention, I did not ask to be thrown into some virtual spotlight, and while I don’t mean to offend anybody, I’m also not going to cater to anyone else’s needs and beliefs.”

You’d think the death of a loved American actor would be heartbreaking and tragic, but some people have other things in mind. Jennie Garth was bashed online for not posting about co-worker Luke Perry’s death and instead posted about her daughters. Soon, she fired back! According to Entertainment Tonight, Garth’s response was, “Hey everyone… I chose to post a pic of my girls today. Because they are my life. Because today is a day to celebrate all women, it took a lot for me to want to celebrate anything. I thought about it and I know that’s the way my dear friend would have wanted it.”

Wendy Madison Bauer was engaged to Luke Perry for 11 years before his death. Her outbreaking response about the death was “I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support,” Bauer told TODAY. “The countless, heartwarming stories of Luke’s generosity and kindness have been a great source of solace during this difficult time. The past 11 1/2 years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him.”

In conclusion, the American actor Luke Perry will be missed immensely by his family, coworkers, and friends. The show Riverdale won’t be the same without him. Perry was a good man from the outlook according to his close friends and family. Rest in peace Perry.
